 The development of electric light source has gone through the three main ages of tungsten filament lamp, fluorescent lamp and LED lamp.The source of each change of the electric light source is the significant improvement of the luminous efficiency, the maximum luminous flux is obtained by using the least energy, which is the inevitable trend of development.So how is the mainstream of luminous efficiency?The most popular type in the market is 90-105 LM/W, some of the more upscale lights can be 150 LM/W,but there are a lot of small factories with cheap price type that doesn't even reach 70 LM/W.Then for LED , why is the difference so big?How to get higher efficiency?
         Form Luminous flux of led lights, we got to know the the relationship between the light flux of the lamp and the led SMD, the power supply, and the structural parts, and we can see the connection between them directly from the perspective of light effect.

1. This is the simplest and most efficient way to do it, and to put it simply, to choose the light bead of the big chip as much as possible.Why is that?In the same process, is the chip's light effect related to current density? we can see from the following photos.


   Yes,the chip's light effect is related to current density.But don’t forget that the chip is encapsulated in SMD or COB, and the electric current of the it is rated.Take SMD 2835 0.2w for example,normally, the electric current of this kind of lamp bead is 60mA,and the size of the LED inside is 9 x 15, 1016, 1017, 1020 and so on, so the current density of the large chip is smaller than the current density of the small chip?and luminous efficiency is higher than small type?
2.Adjust the output current of the power supply.
  Adjust the output current of the power supply is the same principle as above.
  As we know
,the rated current marked on the lamp is not normally the highest luminous current,this is the inevitable result of LED business.Therefore, in the specific pursuit of high light effect lamps, we can only adjust the input current of the light bead to achieve high efficiency.Of course, in actual production, the way to reduce the current is to increase the number of lights on the lamp board first, then adjust the power output current.Why?Obviously, the input current of single lamp bead reduced, the light effect improved, but the overall light flux is reduced, so the light flux can only be guaranteed by adding the lamp bead.Of course, in actual production, the way to reduce the current is to increase the number of led on the lamp board first, then adjust the power output current.
3.Reduce the temperature of the whole lamp as much as possible.

  Saw it?The lower the temperature, the higher the light effect of the led, so in order to get the high  luminous efficiency of the whole lamp, equipped with good heat dissipation structure is most important.
4.Choose high reflective structure and high transmittance PC cover.
  In the light flux of LED lights, we got to know the influence of structural parts and transmittance cover on the whole light flux.The light effect is the ratio of the luminous flux to the power, so the higher the light flux, the higher the light effect.Some of the most light-efficient factories here use special optical materials such as reflective tape.
5.Selection of power options
     The selection of LED power supply is also a major factor of photoeffect, because of different power supply schemes, the power efficiency is different.The current mainstream power programme efficiency, the non-isolated scheme is 88% to 91%, and the isolated scheme is between 75% and 85%(under 3w will be much more lower).The linear program depends on the difference between the input voltage and the output voltage. The closer the two are, the higher the efficiency is, and the maximum can be around 90%.Eliminate the advantages and disadvantages of the power plan itself,its also big difference in terms of efficiency.

   There are many ways to improve photosynthetic efficiency but improve photosynthetic efficiency of the price also is very big, the cost is high, especially to improve the whole lighting efficiency after 110 LM/W,.so the LED light efficiency to a certain extent, can measure the quality of the whole lamp, luminous efficiency is higher, the higher overall quality.
